Taliouine, land of saffron

Taliouine is known as the saffron capital of Morocco. In autumn the purple flowers open at dawn and are picked by hand before the sun wilts them. Each flower gives only a few red threads, which are then carefully dried. Taliouine is where we bring our saffron from, used in cooking and in some of our care products.
