The ghassoul deposits

Ghassoul is extracted in the Moulouya valley and dried in the sun. Crushed and sifted, it becomes a fine powder mixed with water, sometimes rose water or herbs, for a gentle, purifying mask. It is one of the essential steps of the hammam ritual.
