I founded Coopérative Yacout in 2013. The purpose of our cooperative is to improve the social and economic conditions of its members.
We work to keep the trust of the customers who support us: what we sell, we make ourselves, in our own workshop.
What you will find here is the work of every member of the cooperative.
Made by hand, by our members
The raw material: the argan tree
It all starts with the argan tree, the emblematic tree of south-western Morocco. Its fruit is harvested, then the kernels are extracted before being turned into oil.
Prepared in small batches
Creams, masks and hammam treatments are prepared in our workshop in small quantities, so that every recipe stays under control.
Checks and traceability
Every raw material is stored, labelled and tracked by batch, date and quantity. The oils are checked by hand before packing, following the good practices of the ISO 22716 standard.
Packed by hand
Filling, closing, labelling, bagging: each of these steps is done by hand, jar after jar, by the members of the cooperative.

Argan oil, our raw material
We make and sell cosmetics based on argan oil, holding every product to the same standard.
Always searching
Constantly looking for new ideas and new challenges, the cooperative has never stopped innovating: several certified organic and naturally sourced ranges were born in our workshop.
The steps that shaped us
2013 — Making our products known
Since 2013 we have taken part in trade fairs and exhibitions to make our products and our name known.
2015 — Support from the INDH
Morocco’s National Initiative for Human Development allowed us to buy the equipment the project needed to grow. The training we followed helped us diversify our products and improve the quality of production.
2016 — Good manufacturing practice
Since December 2016, manufacturing, packaging, control, storage and shipping have followed an organisational system compliant with the international ISO 22716 standard.
